This program is designed to provide physicians, physicians assistants, and nurse practitioners affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and members of Beth Israel Deaconess Care Organization with timely information and relevant updates on some of the most recent and exciting advances in our various disciplines. We are all so busy in our hectic schedules that unless we engage in a specific conversation with colleagues in different specialties, we are often unaware of the remarkable and stellar work that is being done at our medical center.
Teaching will be primarily through state-of-the-art lectures, followed by question-and-answer sessions involving the audience. You will leave this course informed and inspired and that through your work, your patients will live healthier and happier lives.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

- Develop a diabetes treatment plan based on the most recent prevention and screening guidelines.
- Manage survivorship care in the community of patients who have received immunotherapy.
- Identify risk factors and symptoms and tests to diagnose COPD.
